Things To Do in Steamboat Springs: Live Music

Things To Do in Steamboat Springs: Live Music

Steamboat Springs may be a small mountain town but cultural opportunities here are not void. In fact, Smithsonian.com recently named Steamboat its #4 Best Small Town for its wide offering of music. From the highly acclaimed Strings Music Pavilion, hosting international phenoms and award winning bands, to a variety of music festivals and free concert series, Steamboat provides a great number of quality music concerts per capita.

Friends and Family Series at the Chief Theater

A new music series that I am excited about and is completely affordable is the Friends and Family Series at the Chief Theater.  This new classical music series at the Chief Theater costs only $20 online or $25 at the door for adults and only $5 for students. Affordable, right?

The series is the brainchild of the highly-respected cellist, author and local fav, John Sant’Ambrogio, and brings together local classical musicians and talented international performers.
